I got to spend thanksgiving with a good friend of mine in Upstate New York and northern Pennsylvania. The food was great and it snowed twice (just a dusting). We had two fantastic Thanksgiving Dinners.

So, Ive made about three million apple pies/tarts over the last 29 years. So for Thanksgiving lunch I thought I would add something that I assumed would go well with the flavors/occassion; Acorn Squash. It turned out great!

My buddy and me whipped up a batch of super simple Gingersnaps that other night. We were up late working on some pretty ridiculous craft ideas and needed an easy, quick, sugary pick me up.

I had the opportunity to cook a ‘pre-thanksgiving’ thanksgiving lunch for several of my friends this last Sunday. Thanksgiving is my favorite menu of the year. Mainly due to the bread stuffing/cranberry/gravy/turkey combination…

This is my really simple stuffing recipe. I made this originally to contribute to a vegan thanksgiving two years ago (hopefully the last time ill have to eat a Tofurkey… ever… I think Tofurkey’s make baby Jesus sad).
So if you are a vegan out there you can easily replace the butter with your favorite artificial butter and do just fine :-)
